Make English Fun For Everyone

My name is Nicky and I moved to Spain over 10 years ago.

 

I learned Spanish by getting to know my neighbours in the local square. This was definitely a fun and interesting way to learn a language and I try to recreate this atmosphere in my classes.

Learning a language should be about being immersed in conversations and not with a head in a grammar book. It really works and is much more fun!

In my classes I dedicate a small amount of time to grammar and the rest is talking, talking as you would with your neighbours, friends or colleagues.

The games and books I have recommended on these pages are those that I use in class and have found very successful in encouraging conversation especially for the younger students.
